Level One Journey Into Power - Sat Aug 5 to Aug 12 2017
My Level One Journey Into Power was truly amazing and eye opening. I really enjoyed my time there.
I cannot really discuss everything that went on because there is so much to discuss. In addition, I do not want to ruin the experience for the a person who has not been. Therefore, this post will not be long or detailed. I intentionally left out many aspects of Level One because I do not want to spoil it for anyone.
I would like to discuss my difficulties with my experience that is not related to the Level One program.
I did camp for the week. However, it was challenge because the weather in the mountains was very different from the weather in Toronto. The weather in August in Toronto is usually dry and hot. In the catskill mountains, it was chilly and damp. This made it difficult to sleep because it is cold and damp when I was sleeping. Furthermore, there was lots of rain and my tent leaked slightly due to the constant dampness. In addition, my clothes did not dry after sweaty asana. Therefore, I recommend staying indoors when attending Level One. I was not that tired overall during the week even though I did not get much sleep.
Even though I had a less than ideal experience camping, the Level One program was truly amazing, and I had a great time with great people. I increased my confidence tremendously and I feel like I would lead and teach a Power Vinyasa Yoga class.
Furthermore, I discovered a lot about myself and others during Level One. I can’t go into more detail than this, you’ll have to go experience it for yourself! I recommend it. This was the best thing about Level One, I learned and discovered so much about life that it will change myself forever.
I really enjoy mediating; but for some reason, I can never seem to find the time to mediate. I really have to address this. I am doing 40 days again with Pino. So I am going to make a commitment just like the commitment for asana. I will do mediation for each day.
Will I continue my journey to Level Two? Most definitely.
