Ashley taugh the class that I attended today. I think she is still in the Portugal mindset because she had us doing some surfing on our yoga mats during the class! It was a lot of fun. However, when I tried to do the surfing motions I kept ending up in Warrior II for some reason; even though, I know full well that I should be doing the surfing pose.
I had a wonderful class with Cassandra she did an amazing job teaching the class.
There was a fellow yogi that had a serious medical surgery. As a result, Cassandra slowed the practice downed to accommodate him; which was a great decision. I did not mind at all either because either way I was going to have an amazing journey. I had the chance to really get into my poses and get a good stretch and perfect my technique with the assistance of Cassandra.
I cannot believe there is another Messaging App by Google! Google has Hangouts and Messenger, and now Google Allo!
I have been using Google Allo which is a strange combination of a messaging app and a Google Assistant which makes it a “smart messaging app”. Therefore, it is a little strange because I can talk to my “assistant” which makes it seem like I am talking to someone, but I am not.
Today’s Deep Flow Yoga class was amazing. I really needed the hip opening exercises that Andrea had us do. We did some really long dragon poses which is one of my favourite poses. However, I never really practice that pose because I don’t do a lot of deep flow classes any more.
I think I am going to get a goal of doing at least one per week.
I was horribly late for this class because of huge traffic delays in Mississauga. Therefore, it was more like Yoga 52 (Yoga 60 - 8 minutes = 52). I felt bad coming in so late; however, Denise welcomed me without judgment. That’s what I love about Power Yoga.
Unfortunately, I missed all the Warriror I poses and low push ups at the beginning of the class. So, I had so much energy than what I am used to at that stage in the practice; which was good because I could focus on those poses with more intention than I have been.
