My Fruit cleanse experience I started fruit cleanse Monday because I felt ready and I need do ease up to the onslaught my body will endure on Sunday for Thankgiving dinner!
I had lots of fruits during the past 3 days. I did not eat very many cucumbers, peppers, and avocados. I had mostly bananas, oranges, orange melon, tomatoes, and grapes. I ate a whole pineapple today, and I had a insane sugar high for approximately 20 minutes afterwards!
40 Days I have not posted in a while because I have been busy with 40 days to Personal Revolution. There has been daily asana and mediation which have been keeping me grounded. It has been difficult with the mediation because of I have so many thoughts running through my mind. The asana has been wonderful. I am exploring new edges and my core is getting really strong. I have been writing in my journal every week answering the excavation questions and I have been truthful and I am gaining new perspectives and awareness each day.
Today I had an amazing handstand workshop w/ Brad Strickert. He carefully and meticulously instructed how to create powerful handstand with great balance. I was impressed with his experience and demonstrations as it can really show and explain the techniques to perform correct handstands. Furthermore, he stressed his own pitfalls when he was learning handstands. So, he gave us tips on how to learn handstands by focusing on getting your alignment true in order to be able to hold handstands gracefully and to expand and develop your handstands into future poses.
Vienna taught this Monday night, and it was a great class. It was exceptionally hot and humid before the class started. So, the sweat came on early and the sweat was pouring off me throughout the class. It was amazing.
Vienna helped me with my warrior two (on the left side). She positioned my leg / knee further to the left, I guess I had my knee too far right. Furthermore, she positioned it more to a ‘square’ (the leg forms a 90 degree angle from shin to the leg or leg parallel to the floor).
I attended a Intro to Xero workshop today. I learned that cloud accounting is the way of the future and not moving forward with this trend maybe costly if you do not merge your clients to the cloud. The promise of the cloud is working with one data on one platform which allows for a better connection with clients because you can always check in with clients as they are going through the bookkeeping process rather than at year end.
